Photos of the Welcome Back Bash!
Just thought you'd like to catch a glimpse of all the people that had fun at the Welcome Back Bash that was held on Thursday, August 30th. Our next dance probably won't be until somewhere near Valentine's Day. Just an update!
Attractions Books
Just wanted to let you all know that we've sent the Attractions books out to the freshmen and sophomores. We are trying to earn enough in fundraising to send them to DC for a short trip! If you would like to order one, let us know through Mrs. Holliday or Ms. Murrain.
Please return the orders by Monday, September 10th. We'll have the books delivered ASAP! Thanks!
Zaxby's Night
Our first Zaxby's Night is September 18th at the Gordon Rd. location 5:00 - 8:00. Bring your family out to meet with other WECHS family members while you help raise funds for the PTSA!Sweatshirts are coming!
We are working on getting some sweatshirts made up. Be looking for a poster board with pictures. We'll be taking votes from students to determine which design to go with. I don't have prices yet, but we'll let you know.Contact us!

More Activities Added!
Our first general PTSA meeting should be in the BB&T auditorium located in the McKeithan building across the street (south) from the WECHS building. The meeting will start promptly at 6:00 Monday, August 27th. Refreshments will be available for sale during the meeting.
Our first Zaxby's Night will be September 18th on Gordon Rd., 5:00-8:00 pm.
Our October fundraiser hasn't yet been scheduled, but we'll let you know as soon as we get that organized.
November 26th we'll be at Zaxby's on Gordon Rd., 5:00-8:00 pm.
December we'll be working out a schedule with Barnes & Noble in Mayfair for our gift wrapping fundraiser. Last year we raised over $150 with this one. This year we plan to raise $200! Come out and help us make those gifts beautiful for the customers!
January 28th we'll be at Zaxby's on 17th St., 5:00-8:00 pm
Nothing planned for February yet.
March 25th we'll be back at Zaxby's on 17th St., 5:00-8:00 pm
We still have t-shirts for sale in white or purple. See Ms. Murrain at school or find us at any activity to purchase one. They are only $10!
Sweatshirts will be coming soon! Keep an eye on Ms. Murrain's office. We'll be putting one up for display and taking pre-orders before the cool weather sets in.

We'll also be planning a Spring Gala to raise money for an annual scholarship, for more trips to visit various colleges in decent vicinity, and for summer and/or leadership camps.

First General PTSA Meeting
Our first general meeting will be held
Since it's being held so close to dinner time, we'll be serving refreshments.

Welcome to the 2011-2012 School Year
The first day of school is Monday, August 13th!
It's here already! The summer seems to have flown by! You can find the school supply list here if you haven't already found it on the school website.
