The Barnes & Noble Gift Wrapping Day is Sunday, December 16th 10:00 am until 10:00 pm!

There is a volunteer sign-up sheet on Ms. Rich's door.  We need both adults & students.  Thank you all!  See you there! 

Another Update

The Google Calendar tool has broken for this blog.  I cannot attach it to this blog until the author of the gadget fixes it.  Until then, please search for the WECHS PTSA Google Calendar by:

•  going to www.calendar.google.com.
• On the left side of the page, you'll see a drop-down tab that says, "Other Calendars."  When you click on that tab, a search window will open directly beneath it.
• Just type in WECHS PTSA in that search box and the Google Calendar will show.  I've made it public, so everyone will know what is upcoming.

I'll also try to keep you updated here.

Updates

Barnes & Noble Gift Wrapping

The Barnes & Noble Gift Wrapping session will be Sunday, December 16th 8:00 am - 10:00 pm.  Look for sign-in sheets to be posted  soon on Ms. Rich's volunteer board.  We can use students, parents, and teachers for this event!

Vendor Fair / Game Day

We need help planning this event scheduled for Friday, May 17th.  Students are especially needed to volunteer in the planning committee.  Please keep an eye on our calendar and notices at school for meeting times.  This will be BIG, Folks!

Senior Projects

Volunteers are needed to judge Senior Projects December 10 & 11, 5:00 - 7:00 pm.  If you are able to help please contact Patsy O'Reilly at 512-5686 or oreillypatsy@gmail.com.  We need several volunteers for this, so the more the merrier.

Graduation

The December graduation ceremony will be on the 15th at 11:00 am in the BB&T Auditorium.  The June graduation will be on the 1st at 1:00 pm.

Sweatshirts!!!!

Watch for a display sweatshirt coming soon to a wall near you!  We'll have heather gray sweatshirts, both hoodies and zip-ups, for sale very soon.  The hoodies will be $27.  The zip-ups will be $32.  These are nice, thick sweatshirts perfect for the cooler weather we've been experiencing lately.  Order forms will be available when you see the sweatshirt hanging on the wall.  Orders can be given to Mrs. Holliday.  She'll forward them to the PTSA for fulfillment.

Jungle Rapids Night!

Thursday, October 18th

6:00 - 9:00 pm

Spend the evening at Jungle Rapids Family Fun Park having fun and helping WILMINGTON EARLY COLLEGE HIGH SCHOOL PTSA in raising addition funds. We ask that you, your family, and friends participate in this evening of fellowship and entertainment.
 
The following activities and products will be offered in your package:
 
Choice of two (2) activities per person per armband (activity being defined as (1) Go-Kart Ride, or (1) round of Jungle Golf, or (1) game of Laser Tag, or (1) Wall Climb, or (1) Kids Jungle for those eight (8) years and under)
 
Two Token Notes (16 tokens)

The price of this outing is $10.00 per participant (This is an eighteen dollar $18.00 value). Five ($5.00) dollars will be donated to WILMINGTON EARLY COLLEGE HIGH SCHOOL PTSA for each participant.
 
Please identify yourselves as part of this group to receive your armband and for the WILMINGTON EARLY COLLEGE HIGH SCHOOL PTSA to receive credit.
 
All organizations that participate in fundraising events must be a recognized non profit by the State of North Carolina.
 
We do not allow any outside food or beverage on premises.
